Foreign and American journalists are eligible to apply for these fellowships. The aim of the McGraw Fellowship for Business Journalism is to support in-depth, ambitious coverage of critical issues related to the global economy and business. Mission at the Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Center for Business Journalism is to enhance the quality and depth of business and economic news coverage.

American Academy in Berlin - Postdoctoral Fellowships $5,000 per month stipend. Anticipated 9/2017 ( Previous deadline 9/30/2016 )

Residential fellowships are for emerging as well as established scholars, writers and professionals who wish to engage in independent study in Berlin. Past recipients have included historians, economists, poets, art historians, journalists, legal scholars, anthropologists, musicologists, public policy experts and writers, among others. The Academy does not accept project proposals in mathematics and the hard sciences.  All fellows are expected to reside at the Hans Arnhold Center during the entire term of the award. Fellowships are typically awarded for an academic semester or, in some cases, for an entire academic year. Only the Bosch Fellowships in Public Policy may be for shorter stays of six to eight weeks.

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation offers numerous graduate student archival internships for up to 5 months at the library in Boston, Massachusetts. Students can work in the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum's textual archives, audiovisual archives, and museum collections department, among other units. Internships are offered during the Winter-Spring (December 15-May 15), Spring-Summer (May 15-August 15), and Summer-Fall (August 15-December 15). Students gain experience in a Presidential Library while contributing to the work of the institution.
